ibis Styles Glasgow Centre George Square

Brilliant location for what we needed. We arrived by train so we didn’t have too far to walk to get to the hotel & we were attending a gig at the barrowlands & also doing a bit of shopping & everything was within easy walking distance. Our train got into Glasgow at 12 & we could leave our luggage with reception until we could check in at 3, the process was quick & easy & as I messaged the hotel prior to our stay to request a room on a lower floor (as my mum doesn’t like lifts), they thankfully put us on the second floor. There was also free hot drinks & water available at reception too. Our room was a twin bed, clean & comfortable & the shower was nice & hot.

We stayed over night to make the most of Glasgow Pride 2025 - the location was fantastic! We were just a couple of minutes walk from.. everywhere! The room was lovely, not much of a view out to the little courtyard but we weren't sitting about the room admiring the view anyway and we're sure it meant it was much quieter! You do get plenty of rooms with a view to the outside. We really appreciated the air con as it was a very warm and humid night! Everything was clean and tidy! Breakfast in the morning was very welcome, plenty of selection and was all really nice! Great choice of continental and cooked items in the buffet. The staff were really friendly and helpful!

Great location and room was perfect. Good value for money and checking in and out was really easy. Getting the voucher for NCP was a breeze too and will definitely stay here again in the future next time I am in Glasgow for work.

Location - perfect, very central, a few minutes walk from main railway station, bars, restaurants and shopping Staff - excellent, very friendly, professional and courteous Room - very clean, modern, comfortable bed, toiletries provided. Shower fine, but not very powerful Facilities - great bar and restaurant are, pool table available for guests, decent music in the background Breakfast - good choice of continental with cheese, ham, pastries, jams etc. hot food a bit disappointing as had to wait for hot plates to be replenished which took a while and still wasn’t very hot

Great location, good sized room and free coffee machines to use in reception. Very quiet despite location and black out curtains made it super dark. Easy to use temp Controls and plenty tea and coffee in the room as well as the machines downstairs. Love the decor of Duke of Wellington etc and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I am deaf and was provided with a flash alarm, which a lot of hotels do not have, and a risk assessment with a member of staff to check if I needed any assistance while staying. Super impressed with that as a disabled traveller and made me feel safe during my stay. Way more than most hotels do and why I will definitely be staying again.
